PROJECT CHALLENGES

High-Speed Delicate Handling

One of our primary challenges was maintaining high-speed sorting without compromising the integrity of delicate fruits like cherries and premium apples. We implemented a specialized ‘soft-touch’ conveyor system that uses water flumes and air cushions to transport the fruit through the multi-spectral cameras, ensuring zero bruising while maintaining the throughput needed for our 500-hectare harvest.

Real-Time Data Traceability

We aimed for total transparency in our supply chain. The challenge was syncing the data from our sorting sensors with our orchard management software. We successfully integrated a traceability system where each batch of fruit can be traced back to the specific sector of the orchard it came from, allowing us to analyze how our precision irrigation and fertilization methods directly impacted the final fruit quality.
